Shadow earned her name by following us from room to room, always wanting to be where her people were. She had a particular snore for different sleep positions that we learned to recognize. During hot days, she discovered the coolness of the bathroom tiles and would sprawl there dramatically. Her most endearing habit was 'bulldog dreaming' - she would make tiny woofs and paddle her feet while sleeping, often snoring simultaneously in a hilarious symphony of sleep sounds.

Her congenital condition limited her physically but never dampened her spirit. She approached life with calm determination, taking everything in stride.
