Luna's mail carrier vigilance was legendary - she would station herself by the window every morning, watching for the postal truck with intense focus. She discovered that she could burrow under blankets and would create elaborate 'nests' in our bed. During thunderstorms, instead of being afraid, she would bark at the thunder as if scolding it for disturbing her home. Her most endearing habit was curling up in the hood of our sweatshirts while we worked, creating a living, breathing shoulder decoration.
